Umbria Wellness Retreat

Umbria Wellness Retreat

21-23 April

An Italian weekend in an extraordinary monastery in Umbria.
Join us: yoga, plant-based cuisine, stunning hikes, nature and stillness.
April 21-23, 2023
Dive deeply into a complete wellness experience for the mind, body, and soul immersed in the Umbrian countryside.
A two-night, three-day immersive experience to recharge, nourish and fully enjoy the Umbrian countryside. The best kinds of “soul food” await: yoga, beauty, and silence. Rachel Zitin will offer invigorating and healing vinyasa and yin yoga practices. Morgan Witkin of Morganic Kitchen will craft delicious and detoxifying plant-based meals (vegan and gluten-free).
There will be ample time for rest, hiking, or walking in the surrounding nature. Should you choose to indulge in an extra body or beauty treatment, a trained practitioner will be available by appointment.
Join us. Relax. Take care of your soul.
Let us take care of everything else.
In the hills of Umbria, Eremito is a unique place, a secular hermitage where you can spend a relaxing and regenerating time away from the noises of everyday life in a majestic isolation in front of the Unesco Biosphere Reserve.

Who we are:
American-born, Italian-imports. We are two women who, after having each lived in Rome for over a decade, found each other through our passion for wellness and a calling to share our combined knowledge and experience to empower others. (And, of course, to have a little fun while we’re at it!)
Morgan Witkin – Morganic Kitchen
Morgan is a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Holistic Nutritionist, and vegan chef living in Rome, Italy. With American roots and international experience, she brings her knowledge of multiple cultures and cuisines to her plant-based, whole foods kitchen.
Morgan founded “Morganic Kitchen” in 2015 and has provided cooking classes and workshops for both groups and individuals. She has worked as a consultant on various menus in the food industry and opened an organic café and juice bar in the center of Rome. Morgan also hosts the first vegan cooking show in Italy, available for viewing on the Italian Food Network. Morgan’s aim as a mentor is to help individuals execute diet and lifestyle changes in order to promote overall sustainable wellness.
*All of Morgan’s recipes are glute-free, vegan and refined sugar free. The ingredients, when possible, are local and seasonal.
*The meals offered throughout the retreat can be modified to adhere to special dietary needs and allergies.

Rachel Zitin
Rachel has been teaching yoga for 5 years and is trained in Vinyasa, Hatha, Restorative, and Yin Yoga. She is also a certified Body-Oriented Coach, focusing on transformational coaching and using somatics to unlock the body’s hidden wisdom and enable her clients to grow past their own limiting beliefs. Through teaching yoga, she has been able to connect to the joy and exuberance that lives inside everyone, which inspires her in teaching others. She wants students to feel comfortable, yet challenged, nourished, yet inspired to go deeper. Her focus is on gently aligning breath with movement and helping students find the space where they can flow, trust themselves and follow their own inner guidance. Her overall goal is for retreat guests to have a truly embodied experience that they can take with them off the mat, as well.
