Origin and Vision
A contemporary hermitage. The grace of the essential.
How Eremito was born
Eremito was born from a simple yet radical idea, to create a place where silence was not an exception, but a natural condition, where time could rediscover a human rhythm, and what truly matters could emerge without distraction.
Timeless Spirit
The origins of Eremito are rooted in the personal journey of its founder, Marcello Murzilli, shaped over the years through experiences of life and hospitality far removed from conventional models. Among these: the creation of the fashion brand El Charro, the experience of high-end sustainable hospitality with Hotelito Desconocido, and extended travels, including a round-the-world sailing voyage, that cultivated a different relationship with time, distance, and simplicity.
The luxury of the essential
From its very beginning, Eremito was conceived as a space of subtraction. To reduce, to remove, to simplify, not as renunciation, but as a conscious act.
From this vision grew the practices that define the Eremito experience today: built over time with consistency, not as a mere format, but as the expression of a precise way of thinking.
Over the years, Eremito has chosen to remain faithful to its origin. It has not grown through accumulation, but through depth. The founding vision has not been adapted to trends, nor made easier to broaden its appeal. It has remained unchanged, allowing time itself to make it more profound.
This continuity is not stillness, it is constant attention. Every architectural, energetic and human choice still responds to the same founding question: what is truly necessary? In this sense, Eremito remains a living place, where the original vision is not recounted as history, but practised every day.
Rediscover your rhythm
Eremito was not created to offer escape or entertainment. It was created to offer a space of listening, presence and sobriety. A place that originates in a personal story, but finds its meaning only in the experience of those who pass through it.
